Let’s learn to make rolled paper flowers! These simple flowers make great decoration for a variety of projects, and it only takes a few minutes to put them together. So much fun to make!
First things first; materials!
You will need:
1. Rolled flower templates. I got mine on DesignBundles.net. This bundle includes several different leaves to attach when you are finished!
2. Solid core cardstock. I used this pack for these flowers.
3. Something to help roll your flowers. I use these tweezers, but some people like to use a quilling tool or a pencil.
4. Hot glue gun/glue sticks.

After downloading the template file onto your computer, you will need to upload it into Design Space and adjust the size to your preference.
These sizes are relative to my rolling technique, so you will need to experiment for yourself to figure out exactly what size to cut your flowers to get the finished product you want.

Once you have your flower cut out, start rolling from the outside, into the center. Using tweezers is easiest for me because I can grasp the very end of the spiral to start my roll.
When you get to center, curl the base slightly toward the rolled portion of your spiral. Release the tension of your roll to match the size of the base.
Add a little hot glue to the center of your base, and press the top portion of the flower into the glue to secure. If you’d like a little more dimension, gently roll the tops of your “petals” outwards.

There you have it! Your rolled paper flower is finished, and it’s super cute!

*Smaller flowers can be a bit difficult to work with, especially ones with individual petals; so don’t get discouraged! Practice makes perfect.
What projects will you “dress up” with these flowers?
